Abstract

This document specifies construction and system installation requirements for personal watercraft. It addresses the builder’s plate, watercraft identification, permanently installed petrol fuel systems, electrical systems, steering systems, ventilation, hull structure and floatation, stability, mooring and towing, flooding, off-throttle steering and the owner’s manual. This document does not apply to outboard powered personal watercraft and jet powered surfboards.
