Abstract

This standard specifies a method for determining the long-term sealing performance of joints with thermoplastic elastomer (TPE) seals for plastics piping systems for buried non-pressure sewerage. This method, which estimates the sealing pressure for the seal, is intended to be used only for joints with sealing rings located in a socket.
