Abstract

This part of the standard contains the specific requirements for gaseous fire fighting systems with respect to FC-5-1-14 extinguishant and includes details on its physical properties, specification, usage and safety aspects. This standard shall be used in conjunction with part 1. This standard covers systems operating at pressures of nominal 25 bar superpressurized with nitrogen. This does not preclude the use of other systems. Note: The result of the enquiry indicates that this standard will not go forward to Formal Vote.
