Abstract

This document specifies product characteristics, test methods and performance criteria for flat (plates, strips, sheets, wide flats) and long (sections, bars, rod) products of hot rolled structural steels excluding structural hollow sections and tubes. The steels specified in this document are intended for use in welded, bolted and riveted structures. This document does not apply to coated products.
