Abstract

IEC 60335-2-44:2002+A1:2008+A2:2011 is applicable to the safety of electric ironers, their rated voltage being not more than 250 V for single phase and 480 V for other appliances intended for household and similar purposes. Appliances intended to be used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms, are also within the scope of this standard.

This publication is to be read in conjunction with IEC 60335-1:2010.

This consolidated version consists of the third edition (2002), its amendment 1 (2008) and its amendment 2 (2011). Therefore, no need to order amendments in addition to this publication.
