Abstract
Relates to connectors for r.f. transmission lines and serves as a generic specification providing the basis for the sectional standards which apply to individual connector types. Establishes uniform concepts and procedures concerning: -terminology; -standard ratings and characteristics; -testing and measuring procedures concerning electrical and mechanical properties; -classification of connectors with regard to environmental testing procedures involving temperature, humidity and vibration. This consolidated version consists of the first edition (1992), its amendment 1 (1996) and its amendment 2 (1997). Therefore, no need to order amendments in addition to this publication.
